MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Product Maintenance

1. Copper handicrafts should be placed in a dry place, usually wiped with a cotton cloth regularly, no special maintenance is required.

2. Do not use detergents containing acidic substances and cleaning agents such as salt water, as well as various greases and chlorides, which will cause corrosion on the surface of copper handicrafts.

3. Do not use steel wool balls and other hard wipes to clean copper handicrafts, which will seriously damage the surface of copper handicrafts.

4. Each work of the copper master is made of high-quality copper materials such as brass or copper, bronze, etc., and the copper texture is mellow, but because the weight of copper is as high as 8.9 tons per cubic meter, therefore, except for special requirements, copper handicrafts are generally hollow, one is to save resources, and the other is for easy handling, and there is no difference between hollow and solid copper handicrafts in appearance and quality.

5. There is generally a small round hole at the bottom of the copper master's work (except for particularly small and solid works), the function of this small round hole is to facilitate the exhaust and clean up the fine sand particles remaining in the work during casting (this is the characteristic of the lost wax casting copper technique, the inner cavity mold of copper handicrafts is a sand mold, and the sand mold is cleaned after casting and demoulding, but due to the complex internal structure of the handicrafts, there will be a small amount of sand residue after cleaning, and it may gradually fall off over time).

6. In terms of Feng Shui, it is considered disrespectful to touch the head of the gods, Buddhas, and beasts directly with your hands, and if you need to clean it, please use a cotton cloth to gently wipe it.

7. Warning: Do not soak the copper master's works in water, as this will cause the inside of the bronze to be eroded by water, resulting in serious damage.
